Name: Isis Adele Redington

Isis is a very peculiar person. Her mother worries about her, although Isis all but denies her mother’s existence --this will be explained later. Ever since she was born she’s had a tendency for the darker things in life. Often, she would examine the dead birds that hit her families home in the posh side of London. She finds death a fascinating subject. A very strange girl as a child and even more so as she entered her teenage years. Most people find her aloof and strange, this is mostly because Isis is not a people person. She is a very self sufficient person and prefers it that way. She doesn’t make any effort to befriend others. Although she does enjoy watching people from a distance, she find that under any given circumstance human nature can be fascinating.

Isis is also sadistic. She takes much pleasure from the discomfort and pain of others. If one where to get badly injured while falling down the steps? Isis would find that priceless and wish she could have been there to see the act. This is also a reason why she doesn’t have many friends.

Another factor of Isis’s personality is her need to control. She has to be in control of anything that involves herself. When things get out of control, she panics and is at a loss of what do to. She needs to at least have a say in anything that directly effects herself. She gets almost paranoid about it.

Isis has a very strong dislike for animals. She only tolerates her owl, since it brings her things it’s useful for communication to the outside world, like her Father. One reason why she hates CoMC. She finds animals filthy and disgusting.

Strengths
Magical: Isis is very good at Charms and Potions. She likes Charms because it is the basis for learning how to properly hex or curse someone. Not that she would actually be doing such a thing to her peers, much… She deems it necessary for herself to be accomplished in so she does well in it to satisfy herself. She likes Potions because of the control is lets the maker to have. She has complete control over how the Potion is made and how it is works. Also she loves the concept of Poisons and Antidotes.
Personality: Isis has very, very few actual friends, but when someone does gain that friendship with her, she is very loyal to them. She would do them favors that she wouldn’t do for others, as long as she gets favors in return from her friends she is content. Isis is also good at manipulating others to do what she wants, at least that what Isis likes to thing she’s doing, but in reality she is probably scaring them into doing what she wants… For example, Isis pretends, if the occasion calls for it, she can do voodoo, but she only wishes she could. This, if the right person was being told this, might scare them. Ariel, her little sister, finds her older sister quite terrifying and Isis uses this to her advantage. Although she really does, deep down, love her sister, she finds her young mind and vivid imagination easy to manipulate. One time when Isis was 14, her little sister asked her if she was a Vampire. Isis replied, “Maybe I am. Maybe I’m not.” Then she proceeded to snarl at her little sister and snap her teeth at her. Isis is not a Vampire, at all, but she find that her sister thought she was amusing.

Weaknesses
Magical: Isis a complete failure at Herbology and History of Magic. The whole concept of studying history is lost on her. She thinks what is happening in the present is the most important thing. She thinks Divination is a load of crap. She thinks learning Voodoo would be a much better use of class time then studying tea leaves in the bottom of a tea cup.
Personality: Isis takes enjoyment in others suffering. That is not on, at least for normal people. She also takes advantage of those weaker then her, like her little sister. Another example, if Isis were to see a little first year Hufflepuff who is very lost and has not a clue in the world, Isis would find it humorous to tell the first year all the wrong directions with a smile on her face. Also, because Isis is on the sinister side, she doesn’t have very many friends, but Isis is unfazed by it. She thinks too much emotional attachment you have to someone, the weaker you are. Her only exception to this rule is her father, Claude, and her little sister, Ariel. Although Isis isn’t the biggest fan of her sister’s devotion to their mother.

Fears
Isis fears being not in control of things directly effecting herself. If she isn’t in control she panics. Isis also fears people knowing too much about her and her life. That’s why she usually keeps most things to herself, like her random facts.
